This week in math we've been working on multiplication and division strategies. We've done targets, equal group models, equal share drawings and count-bys on fingers. Here's some divisions; 12/2=6, 16/8=2 and 6/3=2. Here are some multiplications; 6x2=12, 8x2=16, and 2x3=6. We put puzzles together with related math facts.

As an engineer I encourage all the students to enjoy solving the same problem in different ways because you will understand it better. These basics are very important as math gets more complex every year.
